Everyone had a turn helping. The guys picked an helped husk. I missed a picture of that😒We bagged 110 quarts total. Some was put away for Dolan & Dominique. I really missed Darwin helping the boys Ellamae tried to keep em motivated with the hrs of husking. But we were all delighted for Daryl an Dolan helping em finish their job before lunch
Dawson was a big helper most of the time. He took Grandpas cobs to the skiddy bucket an brought us the cooked & cooled ears.
Grandpa came an helped cut off again this year. Grandma came along an sat in a rocker. If we got to close she"d grab us. I'm not sure if we entertained her or if she did us.
Denali our pup helped entertain her some of the time.
Just as we finished cleaning up it started to rain. We were so thankful for the much needed rain.
We haven't had to mow the yard for a couple weeks an it just drank up the rain.
